New Pattern Release: The Molly Coat

New Pattern Release: The Molly Coat

Posted by Melanie Burns on

Hello again, Greenstylers! We've got another pattern release for you, just in time for the cold season!

Introducing: The Molly Coat.

The Molly Coat is a slouchy, loose fitting coat pattern with a drop shoulder. Its added ease makes it perfect for layering over baggy sweaters or sweatshirts when you need extra warmth.

Features:

The Molly Coat has the option of a collar or hood, two different lengths, and two different pocket styles. It is fully lined for a beautiful finish both inside and out!

Fabric and Notions:

This pattern works best with a medium to heavyweight fabric like wool, poly-wool blend, wool flannel, tweed, or similar. The lining can be polyester lining fabric, quilting cotton, or flannel. Depending on the size made, it needs anywhere from 2.5 to 4 yards of main fabric, 2 to 3.5 yards of lining fabric, and an additional .5 yard for the hood option. You will also need 1.5 yards mid weight fusible interfacing for the collar and lapels, 2 or 3 1" or 1.25" buttons, and optional grommets and drawstring for the hood.

This coat follows our feminine size chart, and covers sizes B-M, which includes a 30-61" bust and 32-62" hip.

The Molly coat is on sale for $10 through December 21, after which it will return to its regular price of $14. Don't wait too long; get your Molly coat pattern here!
