This Windward Shorts PDF Sewing Pattern B-M is perfect for everyone who want comfort and style. With a unique contoured design and no inseam, these shorts offer a beautiful fit. The optional welt pockets with or without zipper add functionality while two rise options and three length options (2", 3" and 4" inseam) provide a customizable fit.
These shorts require 1 - 1/14 yards (depending on size) and 10% horizontal stretch fabric. They are great for stretch woven we have in the Greenstyle Fabric shop, stretch twill or similar.

The Windward Shorts filled a hole in my wardrobe by being the dressy alternative to my sporty Moxi bike shorts. I love the nice deep welt pockets and the comfortable fit. This is a very well drafted pattern, and an excellent addition to my large GreenStyle pattern collection! :-)
Wow, a pattern with a flatter butt option and no inseam; I love it! Waist height, inseam length, and pocket options too! Quite fast to sew, especially with no pockets.

Easy to follow pattern with great instructions. I wish I was better at welt pockets but it’s not the fault of the instructions. My shorts were perfect with the full butt adjustment.
