Great vest and jacket pattern

A fun sew with technical options, lots of creative potential, and a great opportunity to upcycle quilted bedspreads.

Perfect year round pattern!

There are so many great options in this pattern and the fabric versatility is also pretty endless. The fit and construction of Greenstyle patterns is one of my favorites as well.

Exactly what I needed - so many fantastic options

I NEEDED a jacket for running in rain and wind and I'm so grateful Greenstyle has come through with such a great pattern. Fits so well and the vent on the back, back shaping, hood, hip length. All great. I've also made one in fleece for casual wear and I have plans to make a vest.

Versatile Wardrobe Staple

This pattern is the absolute bees knees! It has so many options that make it completely customizable, you will never get tired of making Vapors. It also gives sewists of every level the ability to make a jacket or vest that is bound to become a wardrobe staple. As evidenced by the testers makes, choice of fabric and options result in a huge variety of jackets that you can make from just this one pattern ranging from comfortable warm hug jackets ideal for evenings around a campfire to running vests for cold morning runs to creative quilted fashion statements. And, since it is a Greenstyle pattern, as always, the instructions are well thought out, the pieces excellently drafted, and it is robustly tested. I had such a ball with this pattern and see many more in my future.....if I could only ever get one jacket pattern, this would be it!!!

The Running Vest I was looking for

I've been wanting to make my own running vest for a while but didn't want it to be lined, and ideally it would have a vent to help regulate my temperature. This vest totally delivers! It's comfortable, has pockets, is easy to add high vis and reflective elements to. The bonus is that it also looks great in other fabrics. I'm looking forward to making more.

Not a favorite

This pattern has tons of options which makes it a bit more confusing. I wish it had a print list of pages for various options. The pockets were also difficult with a zipper.

Woven Jacket

I haven't started a jacket yet because I'm not sure what size to make. There are no finished garment measurements.

Due to the % stretch variability, we don't provide finished garment measurements for knit patterns. We recommend using the provided size chart to determine the appropriate size to make.
