It's ok if made with a thin cotton lycra jersey fabric but the sleeves, are very narrow, making it totally unsuitable for warmer thicker fabric. I cut the sleeves a larger size, adjusted for full bicep and stitched close to the edge but they are still very tight.

A recent purchase for me. I thought it was fairly easy to make, and the instructions were excellent. I wasn’t sure which size to make, so I blended two sizes together and it worked out just fine. After making a wearable muslin, I can easily adjust on the next top. Love the style!

A great versatile pattern for 4 seasons

I've made three of these now and I just love them. It's such a great fit that can be worn as a midlayer for cold weather activities or as a top layer depending on fabric and weather. Such a versatile pattern with options for sleeveless or sleeves and collar or no. Also two options for pockets!

Very versatile for all seasons

I've made this in stretch fleece as a winter sweater, thermal athletic knit for winter running, normal athletic knit, as well as in ponte and french terry for everyday wear. It does require fairly stretchy fabric or it will feel too tight in the armholes. My fleece one is borderline too bulky. Next I want to make it in merino knit. The princess seams make a really nice front shape, and I love the different pocket options. I've started to add a horizontal seam to make the zipper insertion easier.

This pattern is great!

The pattern is easy to follow with great instructions. I'm a beginner sewer and found it easy to follow. I modified the length of the torso and sleeves so that it fit better and had no problems with those modifications. I sewed it with a fleece and my only complaint is that the kangaroo pocket is a little bulky in the thick fleece. If I make it again I'll go pocketless or use a thinner fabric. Fun pocket design though!

I’m so happy that this pattern is now available in the extended size range! This top is the perfect top to where when you want to feel warm but want to feel more slender. No bull and the color locking lends to a beautiful slimming aesthetic!
