Love my new Alta - the sewalong made the harder parts such as the welt pockets super easy. I’ve got a super comfy but great looking dress! The projector file was easy to use with unfolded pieces.
So I was looking for a cosy sweatshirt dress and this is perfect. It has a nice shape so it’s not just a baggy sweatshirt. The neckline options are great and it also taught me to to do welt pockets. The raglan sleeves have a dart in the top. I have never seen this before but it means they fit beautifully in the shoulders. I am going to be making loads more of these
I've been wanting a sweatshirt dress for so long! This pattern did not disappoint! The fit is perfect! Not too tight and not too loose. Just the right amount of room but also gives some shape in the right places. I will be making so many of these!!

Very easy sew and super versatile! Pro Tip: if you do cuffed sleeves and funnel neck or regular neckband, it can ALL be sewn on just your serger for a quick new dress! Perfect length for fall.
I love the combination of comfort and style. I used the Greenstyle French Terry and matching rib in soft white and they’re perfect!
This has been one of my most worn dresses with legging underneath, keeps me warm. I do plan on making more, love the pockets for my much-needed tissue to blow my nose.

Made one with thicker fuzzy-backed material for winter. I found instructions on adding the welt pockets to be challenging to follow, but the sweatshirt turned out great and I wore it all winter!
Highly recommend. Size down for a closer fit and or with stretchier fabric.

This sweatshirt dress has great options and details that makes it look professional! The video tutorial is amazing with plenty of useful tips - sewing this dress was a breeze even with the welt pockets! And a big bonis: it is probably the comfiest dress I’ve ever worn!
Alta is a straightforward relatively easy sew with some nice touches such as the shoulder dart for better fit than a standard raglan sleeve.
As with all Greenstyle patterns, well drafted & easy to follow with great YouTube vids 👍🏼

Have not made it yet but certainly looks cute and comfy . Could be made into snuggly winter dress, dress to throw over yoga or gym clothes or cute dress with sandals in summer . Appreciated the sew a long video for pockets 👍
I made both the banded bottom and the asymmetrical hems and love them both! I love how you can dress this up or down depending on shoes, accessories, etc. I did the asymmetrical hem using a floral scuba for the main fabric and Greenstyle's athletic rib for the bands and it looks work appropriate dressy but not to fussy for more casual wear. A great addition to my pattern collection!
I love the welt pocket of this dress! The fit is spot on, and the construction of this dress was very easy, with well written instructions.
Great pattern and quick sew! I really like how this fits. The back slightly curved seam and shoulder darts are details that make for a nice fit. My new fave work dress that feels like I’m wearing loungewear but looks so cute with boots!
I’ve sewn a few other companies sweatshirt dresses and this is the best one by far! The instructions & fit are impeccable on this pattern and it comes together pretty quickly. I’d definitely recommend this for beginners & advanced sewists alike. Tons of options included which gives you more bang for your buck AND there are even tutorials on YOUTUBE. I’m in love with this pattern & see myself making it a LOT of Altas.
