Exceptional!

My first Greenstyle pattern and I am over the moon happy with the pattern, the instructions and my end result.
I made one error on the collar and that was through my not reading a very clear instruction. I will definitely be making more!

REALLY NICE

This was a somewhat complicated pattern, but I was able to sew it correctly. I'd never sewn side seam zipped pockets before but I didn't have any trouble. The directions were very clear; pictures helped. I liked the way it was sewn together. I love the fit. I preferred having a little looser fit so I went up a size. I hope to make another one without the back pleats and the vest. Thank you for a really nice pattern.

Beautiful well fitting jacket

I have made this jacket twice before and now I am making it for a third time. I bought the fabric from Greenstyle and it is perfect. Great instructions and now with video. Even for the beginner, if you take your time, you will get a fabulous result. Also, they are great to deal with.

Perfect for my winter running wardrobe!

I have all three of my Sundance jackets on rotation for running in the cold. The thickest has kept me comfortable at 15F (with suitable under layers) and the thinnest is great from about 45F down. The pockets hold my phone and I don't even notice it and the fitted shape is great for keeping the wind from blowing down or up.

Very unique back and ideal for color blocking.

weird sizing

I know patterns dont fit everyone, but this one seemed way off. I looked at other bust/waist/hip sizing on other garments and this one the waist seems to be really small. I had to add 5-6". I am glad I did a muslim. The upper arms are snug too. I had high hopes for this pattern, as it is a really nice design. With all the adjustments i had to make the pockets seem out of place and the bottom facing was off (My side zippers were in the way to hem the binding),

Beautiful jacket. Had dome technicle issues

This jacket pattern is so unique and beautiful.
I wish there were notches on tha various parts. Both for construction and to help with alterations. I have cropped the jacket and could really use a waist notch to help with that. Clear instructions. Overall I highly recommend it.

Fabulous jacket!

I loved this jacket style from the first moment I saw it! Love the back pleats and seaming. I made it up in a heavy knit with matching pants and get nothing but compliments. I lengthened it a couple of inches so that mid-back is below the buttocks, but otherwise no alterations.
The instructions are terrific - very thorough.

Came out okay....

Even though an intermediate sewer, I still look to pattern directions at times for clarity (especially with zippers) - these were a little confusing and there’s no “Sew by Sarah” to go to - bummer. Overall, it worked out.

Fits smaller than expected

I based my muslin on my bust measurement, and I am missing at least 4-5 inches in order to close up the front! Will be going up two sizes. Muslin material was Scuba.

Great Pattern

I have made this twice so far. One with a pleated back, and one without. The pattern sheets fit together as well as they could have using a home printer. The pattern lines were easy to see and trace. The instructions were clear and concise. The fit of the jackets were a bit snug, but I think this is how athletic wear is intended. I do wish there were more notches to help putting the jacket together, especially on the sleeve cap back and shoulder, but the lack of these did not affect the final product at all. Keep up the great work, Greenstyle!

I *love* this jacket - the pleats in the back, hood, seams...you name it, I love it!

I do regret no pockets, but I was on a strict deadline to get this gem finished on time.

I used a stretch coating fabric and cotton lycra for the accent pieces.

It fits to a "t" and was an enjoyable sew.

I coveted this pattern for a long time, having found an image on Pintrest, but had no idea where the pattern was from. Two years down the line I found it and made it. All I can say is wow!! I love my jacket. I am in the UK so used fabric that was to hand which is not the same as called for in the pattern. Cotton sweatshirting for me, not much stretch to it and a sort of towelling like wrong side. Works perfect. Love the zipper installation, and well I just love this jacket. It fits me like a glove.

I made the Sundance jacket out of a brown ponte fabric with a animal print trim, and the back pleats. I have worn this jacket so many times and have received many compliments. Very figure flattering, stylish, easy to wear, and very comfortable. Thank you for a fantastic design. I plan on making another in back.
