Hey all you Greenstylers! We've got another great sports bra pattern for you: The Embrace Sports Bra.
The Embrace sports bra is a flat front bra with the option to add bust darts and comes with a pattern piece for an FBA in all sizes! It has a color blocked front or a solid front option, and has 3 back options: solid U back, solid racerback, or a layered back, and all options can be made with or without a keyhole opening in the back. The keyhole makes adding bra hooks convenient to make getting the sports bra on and off easier!
This pattern comes in sizes B-M, and covers a bust range of 30-61".
For best results, use an athletic type fabric knit fabric like Supplex, Poly Spandex, Nylon Spandex, or any knit fabric with at least 50% 4 way stretch. This pattern takes between 1/2 to 5/8 of a yard of fabric and the color blocked option is great for scrap busting! Along with fabric, you'll also need either 1 1/2" or 2" wide elastic for the band, 1/4" wide clear elastic for the armscye and neckline stabilization, optional Fold Over Elastic for binding, and optional bra hook and eye closure.
This bra is so versatile, and you can make so many looks! Make it simple by using all one fabric, or jazz it up with some coordinating color blocking. The choice is yours!
