Empowering

I’ve not sewn with much stretch. This pattern was easy follow, I made a wearable muslin and then adjusted the size. It fits better than my store bought sports bras. I have since ordered better fabric and will make more!

Great bra

This is a very great bra within fit and style. You can easily make this a sports bra or a bra top that you plan to wear under another shirt and can easily wear it out. I love that there’s different ways to do the back too which ups the amounts of ways you can look and do with low backed tops. Definitely a winner

Excellent Sports Bra

This was a moderately easy sew and it offered many options. This pattern also gave me an opportunity to use leftover fabric. I’ll be making several more.

It was just OK

This is my first Greenstyle bra top - I LOVE the leggings. But sadly it's my first and last. If it were just a matter of modifications for size, I'm down for it, but the directions were just so confusing. For a more complicated design, I'd suggest better pictures. Not showing raw edges versus folds in the fabric is very difficult to follow. I spent most of my time just ripping out wrongly placed seams.

I sewed a pretty basic block - 2 fabric front with darts, U-back keyhole and the method of putting the elastic in to create the keyhole created a pretty ugly looking finish. I'm not even a beginner sewist...so I will have to figure out some sewing technique for doing this, but the point is: I shouldn't have to. Technique is a big part of why I'd even buy a pattern.

I sew to achieve a good fit, so I don't mind making modifications because everyone's body is going to be a bit different, but technique that doesn't yield is no go.

Read if you're tall!! Great pattern

Another great GS pattern! But I swear GS designs for petites. I'm 6.0" with a very long back waist/short rise, Size F. I finished my test version, using powermesh interlining on the lining pieces. Very very nice support doing that! I totally love the layered racerback, so cute! Here's my modifications: 1. ADDED 4" to shoulder strap length!! 2" to each side, on each piece. If you're tall, start with longer straps, don't assume (as the pattern says that you'll be shortening them! 2. After making about 7 GS Power Bras I already knew I'd need to add 2" to each side piece (raising the underarm height). 3. I'm adding 1.5" in height to the front center for a little more modesty. The pattern is so easy to customize. I found the instructions to be just perfect, nothing missing. Make sure you catch all layers in the band if you're using the layered racerback option, it's easy for a layer to escape, and a real pain to fix later.

This one has upped the support level for my particular body type.
I’m thrilled about the thoughtful construction as it is why (for me) this bra rocks!

I just made my first version of the embrace bra. I love it . I love wearing it. I love the look. And I loved the process. I found the instructions to be extremely clever, for a very polished end result. For an even cleaner and smoother inside it is possible to sandwich the band between the main fabric and the lining.
The no triming pdf and the bra small pieces make pdf assembling a breeze.
Did I tell that I love it ?

While I love the look of this bra, I found the instructions to be incomplete and frustrating. They felt less descriptive than other greenstyle patterns and jumped around. I think it could be a lot better after another round or two of edits, while keeping beginner sewists in mind.
