Great pattern!

Made these pants rather quickly. The directions included in the PDF were handy and helpful.

The pattern was complete and finished product fit perfectly.

One suggestion! Add optional bound welt or seam pockets to the waistband/front panel seam!

Awesome fit

I love this pants. Flattering and perfect fit.

Have now sewed 5 Chelsea pants. I obviously like the pattern! I have used Ponte and double knit. I have narrowed the legs as they are a bit wide for me. And the waist Nando’s better for me that the full/high waist. I will make more Chelsea
pants

Super easy. Add the top stitch detail for some pop if you are using a solid color.

Great fit, minor alterations

Sewed the size medium with the high waist. Waist 27.5", hip 38.5". Fit was really great! Just needed to shorten the back crotch by about 2" as it was quite high. For reference, I do full butt adjustments on pants so keep that in mind. Really like the front seam detail too! Very cute, comfy pants.

Have made 1 and 2 more cut out. Fits me well

Easy and incredibly comfortable!

Absolutely love this pattern! I used fleece for legs and a combo of fleece/knit for the waistband/pockets. So easy to make and incredibly comfortable to wear. My only mistake was not using elastic in the waistband and the material I used didn't rebound so they slid down until I went back and added it in. Highly recommend this pattern for all!

I love this pattern. I’ve been looking for lounge around pants (in lock-down where I’m living) that don’t look like I’m still on my Jammies. I made a pair out of stretch faber dine for fitting, but there was none required. They are really flattering and really comfy. I can’t wait to use up my fabric stash with this pattern now.

I love these pants. I used Ponte for my first pair and it’s like wearing yoga pants to work! Made a second pair in jegging material with the button hack and tapered the bell to a boot cut. They fit like a glove. Easy sew, classy wardrobe staple.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this pattern because I'm not a fan of overly exaggerated bell bottoms. I figured I could taper the lower leg without too much trouble and it would be worth it because I just adore the low, mood and high waist options and pull on design. The front seam gives them a wonderful 'slacks' look that combines the scrumptious feel of soft, stretchy yoga pants with their dressier style. I'm in love! It was very easy to grade down the flare to fit my preference. I'll definitely be making more of these in other colors with other design details.

I love how quickly these came together! They look refined and the long lines make me look and feel taller and thinner. I absolutely love the flares! Can't wait to make these with some stretch denim!

I have made several pairs and always get so many compliments when I wear them! My French terry pair has gotten the most use because it feels like I am wearing pajamas, and yet everyone tells me how amazing I look in them! Win win! The instructions in the pattern are very well done, making these come together very quickly.

I rarely make myself pants b/c they never fit! These were very different from my normal style, but I am so happy I made them. I have made 3 pairs, more than any other bottom pattern I have ever sewn up. 2 stretch denim + 1 stretch cord. These can be worn with heels, boots or flats. The pattern instructions are clear and precise and they come together in a few pieces. The lengthening & shortening instructions are different than just a bigger hem and I learned a lot on how to get the perfect fit. Love the pattern and LOVE my pants.

After making at least 5 of these I am thrilled with each pair. Every time I wear these I get comments on them in numerous countries as well!!!! I have made them in denim, scuba, and other heavy knits. The attention to fit, ease and style is fantastic. These are a fairly simple sew.

I was worried about this pattern fitting since I'm on the curvier side...okay the top of the fit chart! But they have become my goto pants! They are so comfortable! Not to mention stylish! It is nice to get lots of positive comments when I wear them out! Thanks for another great design!!!! XO!

The fit of these pants is fantastic! I have made 4 pairs - with many more planned. See my blog post about them to see my photos. http://thesewingscientist.blogspot.com/2017/10/greenstyle-creations-chelsea-pants.html

I absolutely love this pair of pants!! I was nervous at first that the pattern would be hard to sew especially with the seam down the front, but that was not the case! It was so easy to put together and the instructions were crystal clear. I also love the fit of these pants which are amazing and I could live in them! I have made three pairs already; a work pair, a date pair, and a lounging at home pair which shows how versatile this pattern really is. I can't wait to make a stretch denim pair. Thank you so much Angelyn for another amazing pattern!

I was so excited when I tested the Chelsea pants because I finally found a great pair that actually fit and slimming. I enjoy sewing up the high waist band that stays put and down not roll down. I love the bell bottom look, very stylish, and I especially love that they are made from a stable kit fabric, and comfortable. I have made 4 pairs and plan on making more. Thank you Angelyn for another great design for my wardrobe.

One of my favorite pant patterns! I’m 5’0 and nothing ever fits so I wasn’t sure if these pants would look right on me. The flare was my biggest concern but GreenStyle helped me take the length away in the correct spots and still achieve the super cute flare without looking like my pants are too big for me! The lines in the center front seams make me feel taller. The pattern is so easy to follow too!

So far I have made 3 pairs of Chelseas and I see several more in my future! The style is super chic and I love how the flare balances my hips for a curvy, feminine shape. These are great with heels! It is a pull-on style which, as a busy Mom, I totally appreciate, and it also makes this a pretty easy sew. The waistband has a unique contoured shape that really helps show off the curve of my derrière, and the front leg seam is very slimming.
The construction is straightforward and easy, I would rate this appropriate for confident beginners but is definitely something an experienced seamstress would enjoy too. Who doesn’t like a pair of well put together pants that can be finished in less time than it takes to do a load of laundry..? The crotch curve is well drafted for me, as are the legs. At 5’8”, I did add an inch at the spot mentioned in the pattern but that is a standard adjustment for me.
Overall, this is a great pattern for a well-fitting, on trend pair of pants that are very comfortable and easy to wear but still look really put together!

This is one of my favorite pants patterns out there. Slim in the front with that great seam feature, but pockets in the back so I can still carry my phone! ? I may have five pairs at the moment. I’m 6’3” so not many otr pants fit, so I’m so glad I found Greenstyle and this pattern!

I was absolutely terrified that there was no way these pants would get up over my tush. But Angelynn worked some sort of magic and they do!!! The fit rocks with the customization of various waistband heights. Best of all, I feel like I’m wearing real pants! ❤️❤️

Rise options are great! Love the blog which links to other looks and options, plus fit help. We all need a tweak here and there to fit our own body! I’m shorter than the pattern is drafted for, so I also joined the Facebook group which helped me get that perfect fit. Thanks GreenStyle!

Hands down the best fit in pants. I wear mine all the time.

These pants are absolutely perfect. They are totally on trend with the flared style, but they feel like you're wearing sweatpants. The best part is that I can wear them to work and be totally work appropriate, but still feel super comfy. I adore the high rise version and the top stitched seam down the front. It adds something really special to the construction and the overall look. I have multiple pairs and wear them to work at least once a week.
