Best Quarter Zip I've Found

I've sewn this once so far. Used a very stretchy synthetic for my first try. The fit is excellent - I like something that is trim & flattering but doesn't highlight my waist - or lack thereof! Instructions were clear. The only thing that I didn't like is that a single piece of fabric is used for collar lining and front facing. The lack of shaping in the collar means that the collar did not lay smoothly for me. I will make this pattern again, but I will make a shaped facing to match the outer neck cut. I am so happy with the fit that I will probably also use this to make exercise tees, removing the collar and zip and creating a self-bound collar. I'd actually give it 4.5 stars, but that's not an option...

Sports bra, Wow!

This is an easy sewing pattern to understand the steps are clear, and the fit is good ~ Thanks

I love this pattern

Made my first bra as a test and it was amazing, I am very small busted, no projection, so made a c cup and added a push-up insert. Shortened a jacket zipper, it stays zipped! So comfortable!!

The best sports bra ever!

I'm so glad I took a chance on this pattern! I have a hard enough time with RTW sports bras (need to control bounce and chafing with a larger bust), so didn't hold out much hope for a me-made. I can hands-down say that this is the best distance running bra I have ever owned. I made a muslin first (as suggested), learned I needed to size down in the cup for more compression, and now I have a great fit dialed in.

I love the pattern. But i dont have my own size in it. In SA the sizes differ. Here i wear a 42DD

That the cm size chart for under bust and over bust be added to the pattern, to give you a insight to your own size. For example:
Under bust AA A B C D E F
85 cm 94 97 99 102 104 107 110

Great sports bra

This bra offers excellent no bounce firm support. With a little work I was able to convert it into an 'Unbelievabra-style' bra with attached compression camisole, my preferred style. I seamed the fronts together rather than inserting a zipper and perhaps because of that there is less indentation in the centre than one might prefer.
The instructions are super - very thorough and easy to follow.

My new favorite Activewear!

I made the Spark Tights and an Endurance bra/top to start out the new year. I have a couple of small fit changes to make, but I love everything about these two patterns. I can't wait to make more....and I am trying to figure out what pattern I need to purchase next. Well drafted, easy to make and on-trend!

Just finished sewing up my first Endurance Bra. I have made quite a few wireless bras this year but none of them were up to the containment task when I took up Skipping (jump-rope). I had struggled to find sports bras that fit properly and were affordable. A small confession: I had bought the Endurance pattern several years ago but never got round to making one until now and I really wish I hadn't waited. I made a 36 H with a zip front and racer back. The Racer back is brilliant: no straps slipping down. This 1st bra was made using scrap scuba fabric from a dress project, I had cut and foam from other bra making projects and elastics came from my stash so my only expense was a separating zipper. There are may be a couple of things I'll adjust for the next one: I'll try wider straps at the shoulder and wider back band.
Overall this is a straight forward pattern with great illustrated instructions that I think even a confident beginner could handle.

I made about 5 for myself so far and one for my daughter (she lives in it now) need to make her more. I only made the racer back because it's our favorite one. Excellent support and very comfortable.

the pattern is easy to follow and the end result is excellent. I've been sewing for 3 years now, I am not an intermediate in the sewing department but comfortable to learn anything new. and I soooo needed to know how to sew my own sports bra.

Now my mother in law wants one but her band size is above 40, I am hoping a larger pattern size will be made available in the near future for this awesome bra.

Would also like to know how much should I stretch the arm hole fold over elastic when I am sewing it on. The instruction only mention for the outer part of the bra.

Definitely recommend this pattern

Do I have enough fabric on hand? How much yardage is required??

Thanks, This looks like something I will want to live in!

I made a wearable muslin first because I was not sure if it would fit since the cup sizing is very different from ready to wear. It was without the zipper and I loved it, but decided I needed to scoop the pattern a bit more on the front underarm. I made my second version with the zipper. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the front closure when the bra is wet with sweat. It is so easy to get off. Having a sport bra with some shape is wonderful too. I am now making my third one. All of mine have the racer back. I wish the pattern pieces had more matching symbols and more grain lines marked. Even on the third try, I have to look at the pictures very carefully to make sure I am stitching the right pieces together. I would definitely recommend this pattern to anyone. If you follow the directions and pictures, it is easy to make and fairly quick.

I love this pattern. Made using the measurements as suggested in the pattern and it fits perfectly.
